I had very high hopes for this eye liner from reading Paula's Choice review, but I was very disappointed...
First of all, I wanted a navy colour, but as you can see from the swatch above, it's almost too dark to be seen as navy. It borderlines black. Secondly, the formulation is just not my liking. It's indeed too dry. Maybe I'm too used to MAC Fluidline's creamy, gliding formula, but e.l.f.'s Studio Cream Eye Liner is so stiff. I don't know what happened there, but it was therefore very hard to apply. Above all, the pigmentation was very bleh. I had to build quite a lot to achieve that swatch and had to wait between each coat.
It's such a shame whenever I have to write my disappointments on a product, but this liner really didn't deliver, at all even at the lowest price for a liner. And, that's why I'm going to stop here.
